West Moor Farm closest town is Morpeth, where there are many local facilities and a good variety of shops. Northumberland boasts 43 golf courses most of which are within easy reach of Longhorsley. Nearby is the picturesque village of Rothbury, known as the 'Gateway to the Northumberland National Park'. If you follow the coastal route you will come to many beautiful villages. Some with castles, such as Warkworth, Bamburgh, and Dunstanburgh and you can continue on this route to Holy Island and as far as Berwick upon Tweed and on into Scotland. Our many fabulous Local Golf Courses are within easy reach. Click Here For Details and we can help you to organise your perfect Golfing Holiday.

The historic market town of Alnwick, voted as 'the best place to live in Britain' by 'Country Life', boasts its own dramatic castle, often referred to as' The Windsor of the North' and is the ancestral home to the Duke of Northumberland (and film location for Harry Potter's Hogwarts Academy!) along with the stunning 'Alnwick Garden' (with its Grand Cascade Waterfall and the largest tree house in Europe) being 16 miles East.

The 1,000 acres estate of Cragside, once home to Lord Armstrong (and the first home in the world to be lit by hydro-electricity) and Wallington Hall, are both interesting National Trust visitor attractions close by.
